The Great Tiger Prawn Revenge!

This morning I went on yet another foray to the local "wet market" (as opposed to a "dry" market that does not have fresh fish and the associated mess on sale). And there I saw a woman selling shrimp. Not just any shrimp, but tiger shrimp, no less!

I enjoy sampling elements of local produce wherever we travel, and am by now known for that at the market. This of course makes me an easy mark, but with produce as cheap as it is out in the sticks in Malaysia, it's still fun checking out the market every now and again. Tiger shrimp? I had to have them.

A few minutes later, money changed hands and I was the happy owner of a couple of kilos of large tiger shrimp.
